NEW ORLEANS – Another Super Bowl dream ended badly for the Eagles again on Saturday night.

And another Andy Reid coaching decision will be dissected over and over again by the Eagles’ fans.

The New Orleans Saints advanced to the NFC championship game with a wild 27-24 victory over the Eagles that was eerily similar to the first meeting between the teams in mid-October.

The score was identical to that game, and this one also ended with the Saints’ running out the clock as their hometown fans erupted in a wild celebration.

Down by 27-24, the Eagles got a chance to at least get even or perhaps win the game with 3 minutes, 18 seconds remaining when Reggie Bush mishandled a pitch from quarterback Drew Brees and defensive end Darren Howard covered the ball at the Eagles’ 44-yard line.
